Built as a working barge and last used by Waddingtons. Taurus has been sold and been shortened. This is the stern section which is 44ft long x 17ft 6ins wide. New bow built on her. These barges were strongly built in steel which was far superior to new steel today. The beam on this would far exceed even the wide beams that are available today. An ideal chance to retain a bit of history and have the houseboat of your dreams. It would cost a fortune to create the beautiful shape that is in this stern section.. Surveyors thickness measurements available. She has just been ballasted, new fore deck put on.
