Premier Houseboats are pleased to present The Colonel, a well maintained and beautifully refurbished narrowboat, contemporary in style and on a secure residential mooring.
The Colonel offers a surprising amount of space, because of the way she is laid out there is room for a second bedroom or even a dining area. The Colonel has beautiful flooring throughout, and extremely well fitted out, and comes furnished including bespoke window blinds.
Entering through an enclosed outside area with new canopy, there is a nice feel of light and space, and a lovely flow to the accommodation.
The saloon comes with two seater sofa, and houses the bubble diesel stove that feeds the radiator, as well as offering enough heat by itself to heat the boat.. the galley has lots of storage and work surface, and a two ring hob and oven, both gas. The gas hot water heater was fitted four years ago.
Along the galley is the bathroom, a spacious area with full sized toilet, hand basin and a full sized bath with shower attachment.
Through from the bathroom is a good sized area that could easily be a second bedroom, dining area, office or another saloon. Through from this is a bedroom with built in double bed.
The Colonel was out of the water three years ago, at which point the hull was blacked and new anodes were fitted. On a secure residential mooring, and in extremely good decorative order, The Colonel offers the potential to live afloat in a safe, secure and friendly environment.
