Bilge keels, sloop rig and with a Volvo MD2030 30hp being one of the original 120 boats professionally built in marine-plywood. Trá Bhuí is a 25’ long Drascombe Gig (no 69 (1994) built in Totnes, Devon by Honnor Marine (UK) Ltd.
The name Trá Bhuí, is Irish Gaelic (and possibly Scottish Gaelic) for - Yellow Strand or beach. It was named after a mile long beach near Sligo in Ireland where a previous owner lived.

Due to a change in circumstances we are selling our Heard 23. The boat was built in 1992 and has been owned by the original owner until we bought it 2 years ago.
over the last 2 years (between lock downs) we’ve spent alot of time refubishing the boat and getting it ready to use. this has included removing the engine and rebuilding it, stripping and repainting the bilges, stripping all the internal varnish and revarnishing it, new floor bearers fiberglassed in.
